Being out and going out are two entirely different things. The bars and entertainment venues that make up what is conventionally known as 'the scene' might be the most visible aspects of LGBT Edinburgh, but they are not the only places where we come together. There are any number of ways to live a rich, fulfilling, and entirely open LGBT life here. Today's LGBT Edinburgh, like the city as a whole, consists of many different worlds within worlds. We don't all live in each other's pockets.
